We work with researchers, businesses, civic leaders, and third-sector organisations to support collaboration, shared learning, and shared action.
Researchers
We work with researchers at Aberystwyth University and beyond to strengthen their collaborations and meaningful knowledge exchange at all stages of research.
We support researchers through:
- Residential and short-course training, supporting research collaboration, partnership working, and collaborative leadership.
- Facilitation for research projects and partnerships, including workshops, agenda design, and strategic conversations.
- Public engagement and knowledge exchange, including the design and facilitation of public events and research engagement activities.
- Support for strategic and applied research projects, particularly those exploring complex social, civic, and systems challenges.
Businesses
We support businesses and organisations to work more effectively together, particularly where collaborative leadership, strategic shifts, and change management is needed.
Our work with businesses includes:
- Fee-for-service facilitation and teambuilding workshops designed to build trust, improve communication, and support shared problem-solving and/or strategy sessions.
- Leadership and skills training, including collaborative leadership, communication, and working constructively with conflict.
- Design and facilitation of large-group events such as conferences, and partnership meetings.
Public Sector and Local Authorities
We work with public and government bodies to support dialogue on complex and contested issues. We help others develop shared understanding and direction for local and regional challenges.
We support civic leadership by:
- Facilitating strategic decision-making conversations, including partnership meetings, and place-based initiatives
- Training and leadership development focused on collaborative leadership and working across difference
- Hosting public engagement and deliberative dialogue activities that bring global best- practices into local settings.
- Holding civic events that bring together policy makers, practitioners, researchers, and community members
Third-Sector Organisations
We work with charities and third-sector organisations to support collaboration, learning, and partnership working.
We work with third-sector organisations through:
- Facilitation for team development to support organisations to reflect, align, and work more effectively together
- Training and skills development in dialogue, communication, and facilitation
- Participation in civic initiatives, research partnerships, and knowledge exchange activities
- Designing and hosting summits that bring together policy makers, practitioners, researchers, and community members.
Local Communities
We work alongside local communities in the Aberystwyth area to explore shared challenges and opportunities through dialogue and collaboration. Our work is rooted in place and shaped by local knowledge and priorities.
Our work with local communities includes:
- Place-based projects and initiatives such as Dinas Llên, Food Sovereignty, Democratic Innovations, Wellbeing for Health and Economies, and Town Celebrations
- Community-centred events, dialogue and learning activities
